Welcome to the PTFA section!

Linton Heights PTFA

The Linton Heights Junior School PTFA is a hardworking committee of parents and staff who arrange a variety of social and fundraising events throughout the year. We raise funds that go towards the provision of extra facilities and equipment for the school.  We are a registered charity and our Charities Commission number is 1142612.

We have successfully raised funds to install our brand new library and have filled a lot of the shelves. Our main focus this year is to raise funds for iPad's for the school. In addition to these we are also raising much needed funds to improve our school including work to the classrooms and outside areas. We recently held a helping hands day and successfully decorated three classrooms and re-vamped the play areas and fencing in the playground. Please see some of our photo's from the day.

Over the last five years, the school has been able to develop a large all-weather play area with new equipment and provide a gazebo on the field. In addition to these valuable improvements, interactive whiteboards and many other items of educational equipment have been added to all classrooms.

Details of events planned by the PTFA are sent out in regular newsletters and, over the last few years, have included ceilidhs, quiz nights and the annual summer fair as well as discos and film nights for the children.
