Year 4
Welcome to the Year 4 page
Class 3 is taught by Mrs Taylor on Mondays and Tuesdays and Mrs Ball on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Class 4 is taught by Mr Gracie. We are lucky enough to be supported by Mrs Buttle, Miss Coleman and Mrs Kaminski.
Our topics throughout the year are as follows:
Autumn 1: Why did the Romans settle in Britain?
Autumn 2: Why do people live near volcanoes?
Spring 1: How have children’s lives changed over time?
Spring 2: Why are rainforests important to us?
Summer 1: Would you prefer to live in the Stone Age, Bronze Age or Iron Age?
Summer 2: Where does our food come from?
Our PE and Music lessons are taught by specialist teachers throughout the year. In addition, we are lucky enough to have our own swimming pool where the class teacher delivers weekly swimming sessions during the summer months.
